What You’ll Learn

Over the course, you’ll acquire both the theoretical understanding and practical skills required to:

Define the role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
Assess emergency situations effectively and safely
Manage an unresponsive casualty, including placing them correctly and administering CPR and AED treatment
Assist someone who is choking
Respond to external bleeding, shock, and minor injuries such as cuts, grazes, bruises, burns, or scald

Certification & Validity

This qualification is Ofqual regulated, nationally recognized, and valid for three years. A refresher or full requalification is recommended as the expiry approaches.
